GROUND VIBRATION PROPAGATION PREDICTION

As infrastructure projects encroach closer to vibration sensitive fabs, and the need for vibration sensitive facilities creep closer to busy highways and train lines, it is necessary to predict ground vibration contours as part of vibration impact studies. LSP has developed calculation and plotting routines to achieve this.

LONG-TERM CONTINUOUS MICRO-VIBRATION MONITORING

In 1994, LSP developed the first continuous micro-vibration monitoring (CVM) system for deployment in the fledgling wafer fabs that were starting up in Singapore. We now have state of the art CVM systems incorporating spectral alarms with real time alerts using email, SMS, and Telegram, that are used to protect most major vibration sensitive facilities in Singapore and the region, from vibration induced by infrastructure and extension projects.

We use state of the art software (ODEON) to determine the acoustic environment in occupied spaces e.g. external noise intrusion, HVAC noise, reverberation time (RT), speech intelligibility (STIPA), sound insulation (STC/Rw). This also includes airborne and structure borne noise transmission and control in buildings.

LOW VIBRATION
FACILITIES

We offer structural dynamics design services for low vibration environments in the microelectronics and educational sectors, using state of the art finite element dynamic analyses (ANSYS, RFEM).

We have developed continuous vibration monitoring systems with full SMS/email/App alerts and online dashboards.

ENVIRONMENTAL NOISE AND VIBRATION

We perform environmental noise surveys, noise impact assessments (SOUNDPLAN) and vibration impact assessments. We are NEA approved continuous noise monitoring contractors.

PIPE STRESS
ANALYSIS

We use CAESAR II, the industry standard for pipe stress analysis, to evaluate piping system load capabilities including response analysis, support capacity and hanger designs.

SHIPBOARD NOISE AND
VIBRATION

We have extensive experience with shipyards in design stage noise and vibration simulations. We use SEA software (DESIGNERNOISE) to predict airborne and structure borne noise in new designs.

LSP is American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) accredited for noise, vibration, lighting and environmental measurement on vessels, and we are the only company in the SEA region with capability to perform shaft power measurements.

STRUCTURAL
DYNAMICS

We employ industry standard software suites such as SOLIDWORKS and ANSYS to perform structural dynamics analysis, backed by experience gathered from hundreds of successful projects.

LSP has been involved in design and measurements in microelectronics facilities since 1991, when the very first sub-micron manufacturing started in the region.

EXPERIMENTAL MODAL
ANALYSIS

LSP uses the ARTEMIS Modal suite of experimental analysis software to perform advanced experimental modal analysis (EMA) and operational modal analysis (OMA).
